Fairy lit and low rise
Natalie Abadzis is an author, artist and designer based in London. She exhibits regularly and has a loyal following. Her style, a collage of poetic lines, textures and blushes of colour, is playful and open, often taking inspiration and materials from Japanese art and crafts. She paints travelogues, menus and memorials with the same degree of deftness, and is happy to make art that is accessible and aesthetically open-hearted. Her handmade greetings cards are all hand-finished, offsetting colourful Japanese papers with fine-line ink work and paint; crafted with care, every individual card is a one-off. Natalie also provides a bespoke wedding invitation service. Email for more details.
Between the light sky and the uncertainty
An old piece of work but nevertheless the title weaves its way through the corridors of existence.
A shadow lost
Also taken from byebyeballoon. I was painting these around the time of visiting Japan when I had my mind blown into 1000 pieces visiting the temples in Kyoto. Dreamworlds indeed.
A new doodle when I should be making crafts for the new book….It’s all there right in front of us:
